Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy explains what MultiGallery (“the App”, “we”, “us”) does with information when you install and use our gallery and photo editing application.

In short: MultiGallery is a free, advertising-supported app. Ads are displayed inside the App and may also be shown outside of it, including on your lock screen, home screen, in the notification area and after certain device events. The App may request a broad set of device permissions to deliver its features, advertising and analytics. By installing or using the App you consent to everything described below.

1. Acceptance of this policy

By downloading, installing, launching or otherwise using MultiGallery, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, storage and processing of information as described in it, including for advertising and measurement purposes. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, do not install the App, or uninstall it using our Uninstall Guide.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from such users.

2. Advertising — please read carefully

MultiGallery is provided free of charge and is funded entirely by advertising. Advertising is a core and unavoidable part of the App. By using the App you expressly agree that the App and its advertising partners may display, without further notice, any or all of the following ad formats:

  • Banner ads anchored to the top or bottom of App screens.
  • Interstitial (full-screen) ads shown between actions, such as when opening the App, switching albums, saving an edited photo or returning to the App from the background.
  • Rewarded video ads that you may choose to watch to unlock optional features.
  • Native and in-feed ads presented inside galleries, lists and result screens, which may resemble regular App content and are labelled as advertising where required.
  • Video and playable ads, which may include sound, animation and interactive elements.
  • Advertising and promotional content displayed outside the App, which may include notifications, notification-area banners, home-screen or lock-screen surfaces, widgets, shortcuts, wallpapers, App icons and screens that appear after device events such as unlocking the screen, connecting or disconnecting a charger or headphones, finishing a call, toggling Wi-Fi or mobile data, installing or removing another application, or when the device is idle. Such content may appear even when you are not actively using the App and may appear on top of other applications where permitted by your device.
  • Search, browser and link-based ads, including sponsored search suggestions and results, promoted links, recommendation feeds, and pages opened in your default browser or an in-app browser after you interact with an ad.
  • Offer walls, cross-promotions and recommendations for other applications, services or products, including our own and those of third parties.

Ads may be personalised or interest-based. To make ads more relevant and to measure their performance, we and our advertising partners may collect and process your advertising identifier, device and technical information, coarse or precise location (where permitted), interaction and impression data, click data, conversion and attribution data, and inferred interest categories. Frequency, placement and timing of advertising may change at any time without prior notice, including through server-side configuration or App updates.

You may limit personalised advertising in your device settings (for example Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalisation”). Doing so does not remove advertising from the App; it only reduces how personalised the ads are. The only way to fully stop advertising delivered by the App is to uninstall it.

3. Permissions the App may request

To provide its features, advertising, security and analytics, MultiGallery may request a broad set of permissions and device capabilities. Not every permission is required for basic use, and some are requested only when you use a related feature, but you should assume the App may ask for any of the following:

  • Photos, media, videos, audio and files / all-files access — to read, display, organise, edit, move, copy, rename, hide, restore and delete media and related files on device storage and removable storage.
  • Camera — to capture new photos and videos from inside the App and to scan or preview media.
  • Microphone — to record audio when you record video or use audio-related editing features.
  • Location (approximate and precise) and location metadata — to group photos by place, show maps, and to support location-relevant advertising and analytics where permitted.
  • Network and Wi-Fi state, internet access — to load ads and content, sync settings, apply remote configuration and report diagnostics.
  • Notifications / post notifications — to send you App messages, reminders, feature tips, promotional messages and advertising.
  • Display over other apps, full-screen intent and keep-screen-on — to show overlays, quick actions, lock-screen or above-app surfaces and related advertising content.
  • Run at startup / boot completed, foreground service, background activity, battery-optimisation exemption, wake lock, scheduled jobs and alarms — to keep features, media scanning, notifications and ad delivery working reliably, including after the device restarts or while the App is in the background.
  • Installed application information and package queries — to support cross-promotion, integrations, compatibility checks and fraud prevention.
  • Vibrate — for haptic feedback and alerts.
  • Biometric authentication and device credentials — to unlock the private vault and other protected areas.
  • Contacts and phone state — where you choose to use sharing features or where required for device identification, fraud prevention and diagnostics.
  • Billing — to process optional in-app purchases through the Google Play billing system.

You can review and revoke most permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission may disable, degrade or completely break related features, and the App may repeat its request when you next use those features.

4. Information we collect

Information you provide. Support messages, feedback, ratings and any content you voluntarily send us.

Media and file information. The App accesses your photos, videos and other files on your device in order to display and edit them. Media content itself is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share, back up or send it. Technical metadata (such as file name, size, format, dimensions, creation date and, where available, location tags) may be read to organise your gallery.

Device and technical information. Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, language, region, time zone, screen characteristics, network type and carrier, App version, advertising identifier and other resettable identifiers, coarse IP-based location, crash logs and performance data.

Usage information. Features you open, actions you take, session length and frequency, settings, ad impressions, clicks, conversions and other interaction events.

5. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the App and its features.
  • To select, deliver, personalise, cap, measure and optimise advertising, both inside and outside the App.
  • To analyse usage, run A/B tests and develop new features.
  • To provide support and respond to your requests.
  • To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, invalid traffic and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

6. Sharing with third parties

We may share information with service providers and partners that help us run the App and monetise it, including advertising networks, mediation and exchange platforms, attribution and measurement providers, analytics providers, crash reporting services, cloud hosting providers and app store operators. These partners act as independent controllers or processors depending on the service and process data under their own privacy policies. Advertising and analytics partners may include, among others, Google (including Google AdMob / Ad Manager and Firebase) and comparable third-party providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights, safety or property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets. We do not sell your media content.

Information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Reset or delete your advertising identifier and opt out of ad personalisation in device settings.
  • Grant or revoke individual permissions in device settings.
  • Disable App notifications in device settings.
  • Depending on where you live, request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of your personal data, or object to certain processing, by contacting us.
  • Uninstall the App at any time to stop all further collection and advertising — see our Uninstall Guide.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version is effective when posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
