Uninstall Guide

Sorry to see you go. Here are three ways to remove MultiGallery from your Android device — each one takes less than a minute.

Menu names differ slightly between Android versions and manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, Motorola and others). If a label below doesn’t match your phone exactly, look for the closest equivalent.

Method 1

From the home screen or app drawer

  1. 1Unlock your device and locate the MultiGallery icon on your home screen or in the app drawer.
  2. 2Press and hold the icon until a small menu or the drag area appears.
  3. 3Tap “Uninstall” (on some devices, drag the icon onto “Uninstall” at the top of the screen).
  4. 4Tap “OK” or “Uninstall” again to confirm. The icon disappears once removal is complete.

Method 2

From your device Settings

  1. 1Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. 2Tap “Apps” (it may be called “Apps & notifications”, “Application manager” or “Installed apps”).
  3. 3Tap “See all apps” if needed, then scroll to and select “MultiGallery”.
  4. 4Tap “Uninstall”, then confirm with “OK”.
  5. 5Optional: before uninstalling, tap “Storage & cache” → “Clear storage” to remove local app data.

Method 3

From the Google Play Store

  1. 1Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. 2Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then tap “Manage apps & device”.
  3. 3Open the “Manage” tab and find “MultiGallery” in the list of installed apps.
  4. 4Tick the checkbox next to it, then tap the trash / “Uninstall” icon.
  5. 5Confirm by tapping “Uninstall”.

Stopping notifications and ads without uninstalling

  1. 1Open Settings → Apps → MultiGallery → Notifications and turn notifications off.
  2. 2In Settings → Apps → MultiGallery → Permissions, revoke any permissions you no longer want to grant.
  3. 3To reduce personalised ads on your device, open Settings → Google → Ads and choose “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalisation”.

Troubleshooting

The Uninstall option is greyed out. A device administrator or parental-control profile may be active. Go to Settings → Security → Device admin apps (or Digital Wellbeing / parental controls) and disable the relevant profile, then try again.

I can’t find the icon. Swipe down on the home screen and search for “MultiGallery”, or use the search bar at the top of Settings → Apps.

My photos — will they be deleted? Uninstalling MultiGallery does not delete photos or videos stored on your device. If you moved items into the private vault, restore them to your normal gallery before uninstalling so you can keep accessing them.
